Lawyer from the University of La Sabana; Master in Criminal Law and International Justice from Kennedy University (Argentina) and the United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI); Master in International Law from the University of La Sabana (winning thesis and recognition for academic excellence).
She has served as an advisor to the National Legal Defense Agency of the State in relation to the Inter-American Human Rights System and as a consultant to public entities and international organizations on issues related to International Human Rights Law, International Humanitarian Law, International Criminal Law and Transitional Justice.
She was a young researcher in the Colciencias call “Young Researchers for Peace”, she has represented victims before the Inter-American Human Rights System, the Universal Human Rights System and the Colombian Constitutional Court, likewise, she has advised the States of Chile , El Salvador and Colombia in cases litigated before the Inter-American Court of Human Rights.
She is currently a partner at AEI International Legal and Consulting Services, professor of the Law program, the Master in International Law and the Master in Constitutional Law at the University of La Sabana, and Co-Coordinator of ObservaJEP.
